Description: Made as a red wine Lagrein is full ruby to dark garnet in colour, with a nose reminiscent of violets and blackberry. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and pleasantly bitter. Fermented in stainless steel, aged for 12 months in barriques and oak casks.
Goes well: With game, red meat and piquant cheeses.
Serve: At temperature 16-18 C
